QR CODE KEYCHAIN

Create a QR code keychain for 3D printing

Turn a scannable QR into a compact carry-ready object with an integrated attachment loop. Choose the loop position, tune its dimensions, inspect the model in 3D and run ScanSafe guidance before export.

The current generator runs in your browser. ScanSafe provides guidance, not a guarantee that every physical print will scan.

BUILT FOR REAL WORKFLOWS

Useful checks without pretending the browser can guarantee a print

ModuQR keeps the core workflow fast and transparent: create the QR, inspect the physical model, review technical checks and export without signing in.

Browser-first core

QR creation and model generation are designed to run in your browser. The core builder does not require a ModuQR cloud account.

No account required

The main generator works without registration, saved cloud projects or a subscription.

ScanSafe stays honest

Digital integrity, physical module sizing and print-oriented checks are useful guidance, not a promise that every fabricated QR will scan.

Exports get checked

STL and 3MF workflows use export preflight and component-level topology checks before the current model is generated.

Core generation is free. Monetization is designed around content and discovery areas, not inside the 3D builder.

What you can do

Create a QR code keychain for 3D printing

01

Configurable attachment loop

Move the loop to the top, right, bottom or left and adjust the outer and hole diameters.

02

Live physical preview

Inspect the complete keychain geometry and switch between 3D, front and back views.

03

STL or 3MF export

Run export preflight and download the current keychain in the format that fits your workflow.

How this workflow works
01

Start with a QR that fits the object

A keychain has less physical area than a wall sign or tabletop plaque, so QR density matters. Use the physical size control together with ScanSafe to watch module size and avoid shrinking a dense code beyond the selected print profile target.

02

Place the loop where it makes sense

The keychain template supports top, right, bottom and left loop positions. Top is the recommended default because it keeps the object visually balanced, while the other positions make it easier to adapt the model to a specific carrying or mounting idea.

03

Treat ScanSafe as guidance before slicing

ScanSafe reviews measurable QR and model conditions such as module size, contrast, quiet zone, base thickness and feature depth. It is not a guarantee that every physical print will scan, so final validation should still include your slicer, printer and a real scan test.

Frequently asked questions
Can I move the keychain loop to another side?

Yes. The current template supports Top, Right, Bottom and Left positions.

Can I change the keychain hole size?

Yes. Advanced object controls let you adjust the outer diameter and hole diameter of the attachment loop.

Can I export the QR keychain as STL and 3MF?

Yes. The template uses the same export preflight workflow as the other 3D QR objects and supports both STL and 3MF.
