What the product is for
The goal is to make it easy to create a QR payload, turn it into a physical object and understand the most important dimensions before the model reaches a slicer.
Current workflows include ordinary QR output, Raised and Recessed geometry, STL and 3MF export, object templates and print-profile-aware guidance.
Browser-first by design
The current QR creation workflow is designed to happen in the browser, keeping the editing loop fast and avoiding an account requirement for the core generator.
Technical resources can still be delivered through hosting or third-party infrastructure, which may receive ordinary request metadata such as IP address, browser information and timestamps.
What ScanSafe means
ScanSafe checks measurable conditions such as physical module size, quiet zone, digital contrast, QR integrity, geometry health and print-profile targets.
It is guidance rather than a guarantee. Real scan performance still depends on printer calibration, material, color contrast, surface finish, lighting and scanner hardware.
A sustainable revenue model
The core generator is free. Advertising, when active, is limited to selected editorial and discovery areas rather than the builder itself.
Affiliate recommendations may be added where genuinely relevant, while future paid features are intended to focus on recurring value such as saved projects, dynamic QR destinations, batch workflows, analytics, API access and business tooling.
